Job summary

Providence Swedish Edmonds is seeking a radiologic technologist specialized in mammography to perform diagnostic breast imaging in a high-volume outpatient setting, delivering high-quality images while providing compassionate patient care.

You will participate in MQSA and FDA quality control activities, maintain imaging equipment, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Washington state licensure and ARRT credentials are required, with the mammography credential within one year.

Qualifications

• ARRT registry in radiologic technology is required.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
• National Provider BLS by American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography by ARRT upon hire.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Mammography.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures for breast imaging in a high-volume outpatient setting.
• Produce high-quality breast radiographs with patient-centered care.
• Participate in MQSA and FDA quality control activities as required.

Perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting. Responsible for producing high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA.

Required Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Mammography

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of full-time mammography experience
