Job summary

Health Here is seeking a Mammography Technologist to support a regional float team across multiple facilities. You will deliver high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care, following physician orders and established protocols.

The role requires ARRT-R/ARRT-M and BLS certifications with at least 2 years of hospital radiology and mammography experience. Full-time with variable shifts, generous benefits, relocation assistance, and opportunities for career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• Minimum 2 years of hospital-based Radiologic Technologist and Mammography experience.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-M certifications are required, along with BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams following physician orders and protocols.
• Gather patient history, explain procedures clearly, and address patient concerns to reduce anxiety.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, optimize imaging techniques, and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Review images for quality and completeness, ensuring accuracy before releasing patients.
• Adhere to infection control standards, maintain documentation, and perform quality control tests.
• Ensure accurate labeling, documentation in PACS/RIS, and proper suite maintenance.
• Provide pre- and post-exam instructions, support training, and communicate professionally within a team.
