Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Bellaire, Texas is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a fulltime, 40-hour-per-week role with a days shift (7am-3:30pm). The position involves performing mammography radiographic exams, ensuring radiation safety, and delivering high-quality images for diagnostic use.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited radiologic technology program, MRT license and ARRT-M Mammography certification, plus the ability to lift and move patients and contribute to QA

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology; graduate of an approved program of Mammography Technology.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current MRT license and ARRT-M Mammography certification.
• Experience/Knowledge/Skills: ability to lift and/or maneuver patients; enter patient data; perform quality assurance on mammography equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammography radiographic exams on patients, ensuring safety and quality of images.
• Positions patients, selects imaging techniques and administers contrast when necessary.
• Enters and monitors patient data; maintains equipment; supports accreditation processes; reports equipment Malfunctions.
