Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Mammography Technologist for the Redbird location with a $10K sign-on bonus. The role requires an Associate's Degree in radiologic technology or AMA-approved schooling, ARRT certification (Mammography preferred), Texas licensure, and BLS. Two years of mammography experience is preferred.

Shift is Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM–5 PM. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in radiologic technology or AMA approved school.
• Experience: Clinical training at UTSW may be considered as experience.
• Licenses and Certifications: ARRT, Texas licensure, TMB, BLS (AHA/ARC) by start date, ARRT-M mammography.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and ensures proper supplies.
• Checks equipment and arranges for repairs as needed.
• Communicates shift problems with staff.
• Assists with scheduling and coordinating exams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Performs quality control on equipment and reports issues timely.
• Attends departmental meetings/classes (min 90% attendance).
• Completes required courses/modules on time.
• Adheres to attendance and dress code policies.
• May assume supervisory responsibilities in absence of supervisor.
