Position Overview: Performs routine and specialized breast procedures, including biopsies and needle localization, to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. Works independently with sound judgment and developed clinical skills to ensure safe, precise procedures and accurate results in a timely manner. Builds confidence and cooperation from patients, their families/support groups, and healthcare providers through competent assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adheres to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department.

This is a per-diem opportunity.

Job Description:

• Education: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
• Certification & Licensure: CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist, RHM - Radiology Mammography, BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (all upon hire)
• Typical Experience: 5 years recent relevant experience
• Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of diagnostic mammography principles, procedures, views, and equipment; experience responding to traumas and emergencies; ability to perform routine mammographic examinations; understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology; strong communication skills; good time management and organizational skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and related healthcare information systems; ability to work independently and as part of a team; problem-solving skills; commitment to patient privacy; ability to build collaborative relationships.

Work Schedule: Days, Per Diem/Casual, Variable days, rotating weekends, shift hours 8, no benefits, non-union, non-exempt, 0 hours/week, per diem/casual employee status.

Pay Range: $62.45 to $78.06/hour. Compensation considers experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental needs, and geographic location. Base pay is part of a comprehensive rewards program.
