Qualifications

Our Mammographer performs film screen and/or digital mammography exams, collecting thorough patient history/information to provide accurate clinical history to the interpreting Radiologist.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Perform mammogram exams on patients.
2. Obtain patient history, prior films/reports, and other supportive information (RIS/PACS, burn discs).
3. Perform Quality Control (QC) in compliance with FDA/ACR standards.
4. Provide imaging support for other modalities (x-ray, bone density, etc.).
5. Manage mammogram correspondence, including results and reminders.

Position Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred.
2. Graduate of a State-approved Mammography program.
3. ARRT (M) certification required.
4. State license as applicable.
5. CPR Certification.
6. Valid state driver’s license if applicable.
7. Meet initial MQSA standards.
8. Strong customer service, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
9. Basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements:

Exposed to magnetic fields, blood/body fluids, and infectious diseases. More than 50% of the time, sit, stand, walk, perform repetitive movements, and communicate effectively. Less than 50% of the time, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb, balance, and lift/move patients.
