Schedule: Full-time

Shift: Thurs-Sat, off Sunday, Mon-Wed, off until following Thursday

The role you’ll contribute:

Mammography Technologists perform mammograms that create images for diagnosis. They integrate scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information. Maintaining a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique is essential.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Collect pertinent data about the patient and procedure, using consistent and appropriate techniques based on patient needs or condition.
• Reconfirm patient identification and verify the requested or prescribed procedure.
• Verify patient pregnancy status when appropriate.
• Determine whether the patient has been appropriately prepared for the procedure.
• Provide timely communication and effective instruction to elicit confidence and cooperation from the patient.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an approved radiology school
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
