Schedule: Full-time
Shift: Thurs-Sat, off Sunday, Mon-Wed, off until following Thursday

The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth West FL Imaging
The role you’ll contribute:
Mammographer perform mammograms that create images for diagnosis. Mammography integrates scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information. Mammographers must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
· Collects pertinent data about the patient and the procedure. Uses consistent and appropriate techniques to gather relevant information from the patient. The collection of information is determined by the patient needs or condition.
· Reconfirms patient identification and verifies the procedure requested or prescribed.
· Verifies patient pregnancy status when appropriate.
· Determines whether the patient has been appropriately prepared for the procedure.
· Selects proper technique.
· Elicits confidence and cooperation from the patient, by providing timely communication and effective instruction.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications :
· Graduation of an approved radiology school
· American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Preferred qualifications:
· Bachelor's of Radiologic Sciences
· 1 years technologist experience
