Essential Functions

1. Operate mammography equipment and perform related procedures.
2. Develop and evaluate films for quality aspects such as density, contrast, and definition.
3. Explain procedures and educate women about the importance of regular mammography for breast health.
4. Maintain records, clean and adjust equipment as needed.
5. Be familiar with standard practices and procedures.
6. Use experience and judgment to meet goals.
7. Perform various tasks under general supervision.
8. Perform duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Registration as a Radiologic and Mammography Technologist by the A.R.R.T.
• Current Radiology and Mammography license in the state.
• Valid hands-on CPR certification.

Physical Demands: Lifting up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, frequent standing and walking.

Dress Attire: Business casual or scrubs depending on department.
