Essential Functions

1. Operate mammography equipment and perform related procedures.
2. Develop and evaluate films for quality, including density, contrast, and definition.
3. Explain procedures and educate women on the importance of regular mammography for breast health.
4. Prepare and maintain records, and clean and adjust equipment as needed.
5. Follow standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
6. Use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
7. Perform various tasks under general supervision.
8. Perform duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Registration as a Radiologic and Mammography Technologist by the A.R.R.T.
2. Current Radiology and Mammography license in the state.
3. Valid hands-on CPR certification.

Physical Demands

May include lifting up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, and frequent standing and walking.

Dress Attire

Business casual or scrubs, depending on the department.
