Location: Melissa, TX

Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday with possible rotating Saturdays

A Day In The Life Of a Mammography Technologist

• Understand, promote, and demonstrate the Solis Way
• Practice excellent mammography positioning and exposure techniques
• Communicate effectively with patients about procedures and educate women on the importance of regular mammography for breast health
• Communicate clearly with doctors, patients, and team members
• Follow detailed instructions accurately
• Maintain a patient-first approach and provide outstanding customer service
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Completion of a radiologic technology training program and current ARRT certification in Radiography
• ARRT advanced certification in mammography with clinical experience documentation, or MQSA qualified and registry eligible
• Current continuing education and experience as required by MQSA and ARRT
• Non-restricted state licensure
• Knowledge of database and RIS/PACS software is preferred
• Experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred
• Prior quality control experience preferred
• Proficiency in medical terminology
• Ability to stand for long periods
