Work Location: 5601 Liberty Grove Rd, Suite 300 Rowlett, TX 75089

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, with 2 Saturdays a month from 7am-12pm

Anticipated Weekly Hours: Average 40 hours per week

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment, performs diagnostic procedures, and must maintain high accuracy in positioning and exposure techniques. Your work impacts both the organization’s profitability and the patient experience.

A Day in the Life of a Mammography Technologist

• Demonstrates the Solis Way and practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure techniques.
• Communicates effectively with patients, educating them about mammography and breast health.
• Collaborates with doctors, patients, and staff effectively.
• Follows detailed instructions accurately.
• Maintains a patient-first focus with outstanding customer service skills.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Completion of a radiologic technology training program and ARRT certification in Radiography.
• ARRT advanced certification in mammography or MQSA qualification and registry eligibility.
• Current continuing education as per MQSA and ARRT requirements.
• High School Diploma; Associate’s degree preferred.
• State licensure in the work location.
• Knowledge of RIS/PACS software is preferred.
• Two years of mammography experience preferred.
• Experience with ultrasound, biopsies, and quality control is a plus.
• Medical terminology proficiency and ability to stand for long periods.
