Job summary

The Mammography Technologist at Mankato Clinic works within Diagnostic Imaging to perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, collaborating with the Department Manager and Radiologists to implement protocols for high-quality care. The role requires minimal supervision and may cross-cover general X-ray as needed.

Qualifications include a two-year Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registration, Mammography Advanced Registry/MQSA credentials, and current BLS or within 90 days of start date.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with ARRT
• Must currently have Mammography Advanced Registry-American Registry Radiologic Technologists or current MQSA qualifications
• Current BLS certification required or obtained within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

Full-time, 80 of hours per pay period Monday-Friday during the hours of 7:15am-5:00pm

The Mammography Technologist is involved with the day-to-day operations of the Mammography Department within Diagnostic Imaging. The Mammography Technologist works closely with the Department Manager and Radiologists to develop, change, and implement protocols to ensure the highest quality of care to our patients. The Mammography Technologist requires minimal supervision, performs screening, and diagnostic mammograms and some procedures with quality patient care. This position can cross cover in general X-ray as needed. The Mammography Technologist assumes responsibility for designated services and assists the Department Manager in administration and management of meeting goals and objectives that are set forth by the Mankato Clinic’s Board of Directors and Administration.

Education and Experience

• Completion of an approved two-year Radiologic Technology program required.
• Must be registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Must currently have Mammography Advanced Registry-American Registry Radiologic Technologists or current MQSA qualifications
• Current BLS certification required or obtained within 90 days of start date.

Employment is contingent on passing, drug screening, health assessment and background check.

Benefits & Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $29.47-$43.70 based on certifications, initial pay based on relevant work experience.

Our clinic environment offers primarily daytime, weekday schedules, helping employees maintain consistency in their daily routines. All employees scheduled 60-80 hours per pay period are eligible for full benefits.
