Barrett Hospital & HealthCare invites applications to fill a Mammography Technologist position to join our team of Diagnostic Imaging professionals. The Mammography Technologist demonstrates knowledge and skill necessary to provide high quality patient care.

The Mammography Technologist, as part of an interdisciplinary team, works closely with and communicates appropriately with Radiologists, Primary Care Providers, patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited 24-month radiologic technology program.
• Active ARRT certification and Montana radiologic technologist license.
• Advanced mammography certification required.
• Demonstrate CE compliance with ARRT requirements.
• BLS is required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammography imaging for patients.
• Collaborate with radiologists and primary care providers.
• Provide compassionate patient care and communication.
• Support regional breast cancer prevention efforts and education.

Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications:

• Incumbents must be a graduate of an accredited 24-month course of study program in Radiologic Technology, have an active Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART), as well as an active Radiologic Technologist License in the State of Montana with the Board of Radiologic Technologists.
• Advanced certification in Mammography required.
• Incumbents must also be able to demonstrate evidence of compliance with AART continuing education requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), preferred.
