Essential Functions
  1. Maintain thorough knowledge of mammographic imaging equipment and current developments per ACR guidelines.
  2. Perform mammography examinations according to policies set by The American College of Radiology and department protocols.
  3. Follow departmental productivity standards.
  4. Ensure proper quality control of the mammography program in line with ACR guidelines.
  5. Serve as a resource for radiologists in mammography.
Work Environment & Physical Demands

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, including standing, bending, and assisting patients, while being sensitive to their needs. Tasks include answering phones, operating computers, and helping patients with wheelchairs.

Travel

No significant travel is expected, except occasional visits to corporate sites for employee relations.

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Satisfactory completion of an ARRT-accredited radiology program.
  • Florida State license from the Department of Health.
  • ARRT certified mammographer with digital/tomosynthesis experience or willing to complete certification within 3 months of employment.
  • Basic knowledge of mammography equipment operation, human anatomy, patient positioning, and image processing methods.
  • CPR certification or certification within 3 months of employment.
