Indiana University Health is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will perform diagnostic and screening mammographic studies while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Candidates should possess active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, along with BLS certification.
Additional responsibilities include assisting with ultrasound and biopsy procedures, ensuring compliance with FDA standards, and reviewing past imaging for better tissue visualization. The position runs Monday to Friday with no on-call duties or holidays.
This position is full-time, days. The shift is Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm, at University Hospital. No holidays! No call! New Hire Bonus available for those who qualify!
Performs quality diagnostic and screening mammographic studies utilizing knowledge of anatomic positions. Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures by explaining the process, positioning patients correctly, and adjusting equipment as needed. Reviews prior imaging to attain and/or improve tissue visualization as compared to prior studies. Complies with FDA MQSA Regulations. Assists with mammographs, ultrasound, and MR guided breast localizations and biopsies. May perform screening breast ultrasound procedures as required by local facility.
