Supplemental Health Care, Inc. is hiring Mammography Technologists for contract assignments at partner hospitals in Falmouth, MA.

This role offers a 13-week contract with the possibility to extend, and provides 40 hours per week to support diagnostic imaging services.

The position emphasizes patient care and image quality, with duties including operating the Mammographic unit, explaining the procedure to patients, and adjusting equipment as needed.

Formación

• Mammography Tech National Certificate.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in radiology preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a Mammographic unit to produce images of the breasts for diagnostic purposes under physician supervision.
• Explain the procedure to the patient and adjust imaging equipment for optimal picture quality.
• Perform additional duties within the scope of a mammography technologist.

Qualifications

• Mammography Tech National Certificate


• An associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in radiology is preferred


• American Heart Association BLS


• 1 year of relevant experience

Mammography Tech Contract Details

• $2,486 - $2,720 per week* estimated weekly


• 13‑week contract with possibility to extend


• 40 hours per week

What You'll Be Doing

• Responsible for operating a Mammographic unit to produce images of the breasts for diagnostic purposes under the direction of a physician


• Explaining the procedure to the patient, as well as observing the scanning process and adjusting the imaging equipment as needed for improved picture quality


• Additional duties and tasks within the scope of a mammography technologist
