Qualified candidates hold a Mammography Tech National Certificate, an associate's or bachelor's degree in radiology, and American Heart Association BLS, with 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Mammography Tech National Certificate required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in radiology preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Mammographic unit to produce breast images for diagnostic purposes under physician direction.
• Explain procedures to patients and monitor scanning to adjust equipment for image quality.
• Perform additional duties within the mammography technologist scope as needed.
