We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Mammography Technologist to join our outpatient imaging center in Wheat Ridge on a flexible, as-needed, PRN basis.
The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality mammography procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience with a strong focus on compassionate care.
Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, and radiation safety
Provide compassionate care, recognizing the sensitive nature of mammography exams
Educate patients on procedures and answer questions to ease anxiety
Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
Maintain mammography equipment and report any issues promptly
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards, including MQSA requirements
Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT (M) required
State licensure as required
