Position Details

Role: Mammography Technologist

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina

Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification in Mammography or eligible to take the advanced level exam with clinical experience documentation
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Continuing Education: 15 CEUs every 3 years (MQSA/FDA), 200 documented case numbers every 2 years
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred

Daily Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists with mammography exams, including biopsies
• Produce high-quality images for evaluation
• Educate patients about procedures and the importance of regular mammography
• Maintain a patient-first approach and provide excellent customer service
• Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and staff
• Practice proper mammography positioning and exposure techniques
• Complete documentation and perform quality control functions
• Maintain patient privacy and comfort
