Job summary

SimonMed Imaging seeks a Radiologic and Mammography Technologist at our Goodyear, AZ location to operate mammography equipment and perform related procedures.

You will develop films, educate patients about breast health, and maintain records while supporting board-certified radiologists. ARRT registration and a current state license are required. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

• Requires registration as Radiologic and Mammography Technologist by the ARRT.
• Requires a current Radiology and Mammography license in the State.

Responsibilities

• Operates mammography equipment and performs various mammography-related procedures.
• Develops and evaluates the film for technical quality such as density, contrast, definition, and distortion.
• Explains procedures and educates women about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
• Maintains records and files, and cleans and adjusts equipment as needed.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requiresregistration as a Radiologic and Mammography Technologist by the A.R.R.T.
• Requires current Radiology and Mammography license in the State

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.
