Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography to join our fast-growing outpatient imaging team.

You will operate mammography equipment, ensure film quality, and educate patients about breast health. Must hold ARRT registration and state license. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

• Develops and evaluates the film for technical quality such as density, contrast, definition and distortion.
• Explains procedures and educates women about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
• Prepares and maintains records/files; cleans and adjusts equipment as needed.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requiresregistration as a Radiologic and Mammography Technologist by the A.R.R.T.
• Requires current Radiology and Mammography license in the State

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.
