Job summary

HCA Florida Northwest Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality breast imaging while adhering to ALARA standards. You will operate mammography equipment, prepare patients, and ensure accurate documentation for radiologist interpretation.

Required ARRT-M and ARRT-R credentials and a High School Diploma. This full-time role offers benefits and professional growth within a major health system.

Qualifications

• ARRT-M Mammography certification required.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist credential required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Mammography Technologist performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures that may apply ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology in patients. Regulates the equipment used to expose the various image receptors, completes the appropriate paperwork, and computer applications. Organizes and prepares the images for interpretation by the radiologist. Operates equipment safely and maintains ALARA standards while performing all types of procedures within the scope of the Mammographers practice. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, medical staff.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• (ARRT-M) Mammography

• (ARRT-R) Radiography

• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer

• High School Graduate / GED
