Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is hiring Mammography Technologists for contract assignments at partnering Hospitals in Falmouth, Massachusetts. The position offers competitive weekly pay ($2,486–$2,720), a 13-week contract with potential extension, and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant experience in mammography or radiology.
• BLS certification required or preferred.
• National Certificate in Mammography is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Mammographic unit to produce breast images under physician direction.
• Explain procedures to patients and observe imaging process for quality.
• Perform other duties within the scope of a Mammography technologist as needed.

Mammography Tech Contract Details:

• $2,486 - $2,720 per week* estimated weekly
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• 40 hours per week

What You'll Be Doing:

• Responsible for operating a Mammographic unit to produce images of the breasts for diagnostic purposes under the direction of a physician
• Explaining the procedure to the patient, as well as observing the scanning process and adjusting the imaging equipment as needed for improved picture quality
• Additional duties and tasks within the scope of a mammography technologist
