• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• One-year full-time experience as a Mammography Technologist required.

Position Details

• Location: Draper, UT
• Hours: PRN - as needed

Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• One-year full-time experience as a Mammography Technologist with documentation of clinical experience and 3D required
• Valid state radiology registration as required by law
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEUs every 3 years, 200 documented case numbers every 2 years
• Knowledge of database software, eRad, Sectra RIS/PACS preferred
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound, core, and stereotactic biopsies preferred
• Ability to read, write, and understand medical terminology

Daily Responsibilities

• Provide patient education about mammography procedures and breast health
• Perform diagnostic or screening mammograms as ordered
• Assist Radiologists in complex examinations, including biopsies
• Practice safe procedures and radiation safety measures under supervision
