Mammography Technology performs health care services utilizing mammography in screening for breast disease and to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease states. Performs mammography procedures and uses related techniques, producing images for interpretation by the Radiologist.
Requirements:
Education: Successful completion of a radiological program or equivalent military training.
Experience: One year in Mammography preferred.
License or Registration Requirements: ARRT registered; Mammography registered or have met MQSA requirements, BLS (or obtained within 90 days of employment), and current South Carolina license issued by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association.
