The Multi-Modality Technologist assists physicians and performs MRI and/or CT and radiological, paramedical, and clerical duties required in the care and assistance of patients. Works under the direction of the Radiology Supervisor, Lead MRI/CT Tech and physicians. Is primarily responsible for helping with the daily operations of the MRI or CT and Radiology departments.
Education: Successful completion of a radiological program or equivalent military training.
Experience: One year of experience in two or more modalities with an external organization or successful completion of facility training and orientation required.
License or Registration Requirements: Current South Carolina certificate issued by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association and American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification. BLS (or obtained within 90 days of employment).
