Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic breast imaging under Radiologist supervision. You will ensure high-quality images while observing ALARA safety principles and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

Job description

This role involves performing screening and diagnostic breast and bone density exams to assist physicians in diagnosis.

The Mammography Technologist works under the supervision of a Radiologist and/or Manager, ensuring high-quality imaging while adhering to safety and ALARA principles to minimize exposure.

Key responsibilities

Evaluating image quality, providing patient-centered care, ensuring safety protocols, assisting with procedures, and maintaining compliance with policies.

Qualifications

An accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-Mammography and Radiography certifications, BLS certification, and minimum experience of 2 years in diagnostic radiography (with 1 year in breast imaging preferred).

Skills

Ability to operate radiographic and breast imaging equipment, strong communication, excellent patient service skills, and knowledge of mammography techniques.
