Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic breast and bone density exams, providing physicians with precise data for diagnosis.

The role requires ARRT-Mammography and ARRT-Radiography certifications, a minimum of two years in diagnostic radiography (breast imaging preferred), and strong communication and patient service skills.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-Mammography and ARRT-Radiography certifications required; BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of diagnostic radiography experience, 1 year in breast imaging preferred.
• Must operate radiographic equipment and communicate effectively; excellent patient service.
• Knowledge of mammography positioning preferred.

Job description

Role:

Mammography Technologist responsible for performing screening and diagnostic breast and bone density exams to provide physicians with accurate data for diagnosis.

Responsibilities:

Demonstrate expertise in Breast and Bone Density Imaging, adhere to departmental protocols, minimize patient and staff exposure, evaluate image quality, ensure proper patient identification, and support patient-centered care. Assist radiologists with procedures, maintain safety standards, and comply with health system policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-Mammography, ARRT-Radiography, and BLS certifications required. Minimum 2 years of diagnostic radiography experience, with 1 year in breast imaging preferred. Must operate radiographic equipment, communicate effectively, and possess excellent patient service skills. Knowledge of mammography positioning is preferred.
