Radiology Forward is seeking a Mammography Technologist Trainee in California to join a patient-focused imaging team. You will complete a 40-hour Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8 hours of digital mammography training, and 8 hours in Tomosynthesis, with reimbursement.

This role provides hands-on radiology training, prep for the ARRT mammography registry, and the licensing exam. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k) match, and free imaging for you and your family.

Qualifications

• Must hold a State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT(R) certification.
• BLS certification required.
• Willingness to learn Tomosynthesis and other advanced radiology procedures.
• Demonstrates resilience, compassion and professional demeanor with patients.

Responsibilities

• Complete 40-hour Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8 hours of digital mammography training (reimbursed).
• Complete 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training (reimbursed).
• Receive hands-on mammography training and prepare for ARRT mammography registry.
• Pass Mammography Licensing Exam and progress to full-time technologist when certified.
• Participate in meetings and other tasks as assigned by management.

You Will:

• Complete a 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8-hours of training in digital mammography included (Radnet will reimburse you).
• Complete 8-hours of training in Tomosynthesis (Radnet will reimburse you).
• Be provided hands-on training in mammography in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry.
• Pass the required Mammography Licensing Exam
• Become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
• Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Safeguards any onsite medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information onsite or on patient portals.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

• A current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
• The keen interest and ability to learn new skills in advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and procedures.
• Are resilient, adaptable and compassionate. Patients can be nervous about their exams; we look to you to provide a calm and friendly demeanor and provide a professional and positive healthcare delivery experience.
• Be quick thinking and have the ability to take appropriate action on-the-fly should an emergent situation arise.

Pay Range: $32.00 – $38.00 per hour
