RadNet in Pasadena invites applications for a Mammography Technologist Trainee. You will receive comprehensive, reimbursed training in mammography and tomosynthesis, with hands-on practice and ARRT registry prep to qualify for certification.

Upon successful certification, you will transition to a full-time Mammography Technologist role within RadNet, contributing to patient care and ongoing projects, while upholding clinical and regulatory standards.

Qualificações

• Current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Willingness to learn Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and other advanced radiology procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Complete a 40-hour Mammography Training Course with 8 hours in digital mammography (training reimbursed).
• Complete 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training (reimbursed).
• Receive hands-on training in mammography and prepare for the ARRT registry.
• Pass the Mammography Licensing Exam.
• Become a full-time Mammography Technologist with RadNet after certification.
• Participate in projects/meetings and complete tasks as assigned.

When you join us as aMammography Technologist Trainee, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will:

• Complete a 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8-hours of training in digital mammography included (Radnet will reimburse you).
• Complete 8-hours of training in Tomosynthesis (Radnet will reimburse you).
• Be provided hands-on training in mammography in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry.
• Pass the required Mammography Licensing Exam
• Become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
• Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Safeguards any onsite medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information onsite or on patient portals.
• Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

• A current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
• The keen interest and ability to learn new skills in advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and procedures.
• Are resilient, adaptable and compassionate. Patients can be nervous about their exams; we look to you to provide a calm and friendly demeanor and provide a professional and positive healthcare delivery experience.
• Be quick thinking and have the ability to take appropriate action on-the-fly should an emergent situation arise.

$30.00 - $40.00 / Hour
