RadNet in Arcadia, CA is seeking a Mammography Technologist Trainee. You will complete a 40-hour training course with 8 hours in digital mammography, plus 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training, reimbursed by RadNet, and prepare for the ARRT mammography registry.

You will join a dedicated team focused on quality patient care, with opportunities to participate in projects, and you will become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.

Qualifications

• State license in diagnostic radiologic technology and ARRT(R) certification required.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Interest and ability to learn advanced radiology procedures (tomosynthesis, biopsies).
• Resilient, adaptable and compassionate with patients in clinical settings.
• Ability to respond quickly in emergent situations.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 40-hour Mammography Training Course with 8 hours of digital mammography training reimbursed.
• Complete 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training (reimbursed).
• Hands-on mammography training in preparation for ARRT mammography registry.
• Pass the Mammography Licensing Exam.
• Become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet after certification.
• Participate in projects/meetings and other tasks as assigned by management.
• Safeguard onsite medications and maintain patient information security.

You Will:

• Complete a 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8-hours of training in digital mammography included (Radnet will reimburse you).
• Complete 8-hours of training in Tomosynthesis (Radnet will reimburse you).
• Be provided hands‑on training in mammography in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry.
• Pass the required Mammography Licensing Exam
• Become a full‑time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
• Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Safeguards any onsite medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information onsite or on patient portals.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

• A current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
• The keen interest and ability to learn new skills in advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and procedures.
• Are resilient, adaptable and compassionate. Patients can be nervous about their exams; we look to you to provide a calm and friendly demeanor and provide a professional and positive healthcare delivery experience.
• Be quick thinking and have the ability to take appropriate action on‑the‑fly should an emergent situation arise.
