Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Mammography Technologist Trainee in Kentucky to complete mandatory training and advance to a full‑time mammography technologist after certification. You will gain hands-on experience in mammography, tomosynthesis, and related procedures while upholding patient‑centered care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Ideal candidates will possess state radiologic licensure, ARRT(R), BLS, and a sincere commitment to professional growth in diagnostic imaging with strong patient

Qualifications

• Current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Ability to learn advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis and biopsies.
• Calm, compassionate, and professional demeanor with patients.

Responsibilities

• Complete Mammography Training Course and 8-hour Tomosynthesis training with reimbursement.
• Pass the Mammography Licensing Exam and ARRT mammography registry requirements.
• Become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
• Participate in projects/meetings and assist management.
• Safeguards medications and protects patient information on-site and on portals.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respect boundaries.
• Demonstrate capacity to interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

When you join us as aMammography Technologist Trainee, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will:

• Complete a 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8-hours of training in digital mammography included (Radnet will reimburse you).
• Complete 8-hours of training in Tomosynthesis (Radnet will reimburse you).
• Be provided hands-on training in mammography in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry.
• Pass the required Mammography Licensing Exam
• Become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
• Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Safeguards any onsite medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information onsite or on patient portals.
• Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrate the ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

• A current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
• The keen interest and ability to learn new skills in advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and procedures.
• Are resilient, adaptable and compassionate. Patients can be nervous about their exams; we look to you to provide a calm and friendly demeanor and provide a professional and positive healthcare delivery experience.
• Be quick thinking and have the ability to take appropriate action on-the-fly should an emergent situation arise.
