Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Mammographer to perform high-quality mammography within the Breast Imaging Department. You will ensure patient safety, accurate imaging, and seamless data entry to support timely diagnoses in a patient-centered cancer care environment.

The ideal candidate has a JRCERT program, ARRT Mammography certification, TMB CMRT licensure, and BLS/CPR credentials, with a commitment to professional development and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT RT(R) Radiography certification required.
• Texas Medical Board CMRT certification required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammography examinations following established protocols.
• Ensure correct patient positioning, image annotation, and optimal technical parameters.
• Maintain productivity and minimize technical errors.
• Operate imaging equipment independently and resolve image quality concerns.
• Enter patient and exam data into clinical systems and ensure billing/coding accuracy.
