Job summary

Phaxis seeks an experienced Mammography Technologist to join a dedicated Breast Imaging Department on Long Island. The role involves performing mammography, assisting in biopsies and localization procedures, and delivering high-quality breast imaging in a women’s health setting.

Requirements include ARRT radiography and mammography certifications, a current NYS DOH license, MQSA compliance, and documented mammography training and CMEs.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography Certification is required.
• ARRT Mammography Certification required.
• Active NYS DOH License (without expiration date).
• MQSA compliance with all required credentials.
• Documentation of 200 mammograms performed within the past 24 months.
• Proof of 40 hours of mammography training and 8 hours of digital mammography training.
• 24 mammography-related CMEs within the past 2 years.
• 8 hours of tomosynthesis training.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography and participate in biopsies and localization procedures.
• Provide high-quality breast imaging in a specialized Breast Imaging Department.
• Maintain a professional, patient-focused clinical environment.

Calling all experienced Mammography Technologists!

We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and detail-oriented Mammography Technologist to join a dedicated Breast Imaging Department on Long Island!

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a specialized women's health setting, providing high-quality breast imaging services, including mammography, biopsies, and localization procedures.

Monday-Friday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Alternating Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with alternating Saturdays, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

• ARRT Radiography Certification
• ARRT Mammography Certification
• Active NYS DOH License (without expiration date)
• 200 mammograms performed within the past 24 months
• Must be fully MQSA compliant with all required credentials
• Proof of 40 hours of mammography training
• Proof of 8 hours of digital mammography training
• 24 mammography-related CMEs within the past 2 years
• 8 hours of tomosynthesis training

Documentation from an accredited training program confirming didactic mammography training or a copy of the training course syllabus.
