Job summary

St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic, NJ is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography in accordance with department protocols and regulatory standards.

You will be the first line interface with patients and coordinate imaging needs across the care team. The role requires NJDEP license, ARRT-R certification, and JRCERT-accredited training, plus current BCLS; familiarity with state/federal regulations and at least one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Participates in PI/QC activities.
• Processes and transmits images to PACS.

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

• Must have current NJDEP license.


• ARRT-R is required.


• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.


• Current BCLS (AHA).


• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT (Joint Review Committee on Education in RT).


• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
