Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join one of New York City’s most respected private practices in Manhattan.

The role performs 3D digital mammography and collaborates with radiologists to ensure diagnostic accuracy and exceptional patient care. Requirements include an Associate’s degree or Radiologic Sciences program, ARRT registrations/certifications in Mammography, and a license if applicable.

Formación

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT Registration RT(R) Required.
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) Required.
• State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable).
• Maintain registry status and continuing education.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mammograms and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address any malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammograms
• Apply analytical skills to interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Accurately complete all patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.
• Complete necessary medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results, escalating to management or a radiologist when results exceed standard turnaround times.
• Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements.
• Adhere to and maintain continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.

The Mammography Technologist performs 3D digital mammography to assist in the diagnosis of disease in the OBGYN office. Must be able to work independently without supervision and have excellent problem-solving skills.
