Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technician in Chicago to perform specialized radiographic imaging under supervision. You will support radiologists in diagnosis and patient care, with a focus on safety and quality in a fast-paced hospital setting.

New graduates are welcome; the role offers mentorship, structured onboarding, and a 10-hour shift schedule with no holidays or Sundays. Sign-on bonus may apply for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• State licensure and fluoroscopy permit required.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Advanced certification in Mammography.
• Current experience as a radiology technologist.
• Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
• Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards.
• Willingness to travel to all imaging facilities.
• Experience with HIS/RIS.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized radiographic imaging procedures to assist radiologists in diagnosis and treatment.
• Participate in direct patient care and safety initiatives.
• Ensure quality and safe delivery of care to patients of all ages.

Overview

Department: Radiology Diagnostic

Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Salary Range: $35.78-$51.82 per hour ($1,431.20-$2,072.80 gross per week based on 40 hours)

Schedule: 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM-5:30 PM or 7:30 AM-6:00 PM), every third Saturday. No holidays, no Sundays, and no on-call.

The Mammography Technician actively participates in the performance of specialized radiographic imaging procedures which assist the radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision of the Director of Radiology Services, the Mammographer actively participates in the performance of specialized radiographic imaging procedures which assist the radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders. The Mammographer will participate in direct patient care, facility quality and safety initiatives as well as local and federal regulations. Assist with complex and sensitive patient and patient family issues. Ensures quality and safe delivery of care to patients of all ages.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State.2. Current ARRT certification.

3. Advanced certification in the field of Mammography.

4. Current experience as a radiology technologist.

5. Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.

6. Current BCLS (AHA) certification.

7. Comprehensive Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards.

8. Ability to travel to all imaging facilities both regularly and without notice.

9. Experience in Hospital Information Services (HIS)/Radiology Information System (RIS).
