Job summary

West Boca Medical Center in Boca Raton, FL is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist Supervisor for the Breast Center. You will oversee daily operations, ensure imaging quality, and support radiology staff during mammography procedures.

The role requires a certificate in Radiologic Technology, ARRT registration, Florida DOH license, and BLS/CPR. You may also operate as Mammo tech when needed and supervise technologists to maintain schedules and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Certificate from accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Experience: Thorough knowledge of radiologic technology, terminology, practice, procedure, physiology, & human anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily routine on assigned shift in the Breast Center.
• Operates radiographic equipment and Mammo procedures; quality control.
• Maintains schedules for personnel and standby coverage.
• Maintains equipment and supplies for special procedures in the department.

Job Summary

Job Shift: Days

Job Type: Full Time

Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

Supervises daily routine on assigned shift in the Breast Center. Is responsible to the needs of the hospital and its staffing requirements. Can operate as Mammo tech when needed, supervise the technologists and is the primary control and quality technologist for all radiographic procedures. Operates all radiographic equipment, and portable equipment in the Breast Center. Directly responsible for adult care until patient is until outpatient is discharged. Must have sound knowledge of all special procedures performed in the Breast Center. Directly responsible for maintaining schedules for personnel and standby schedules. Directly responsible for maintaining the equipment and supplies required for performing special procedures in the department.

Qualifications

Minimum: Certificate from accredited program in Radiologic Technology

Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology

Experience: Thorough knowledge of radiologic technology, terminology, practice, procedure, physiology, & human anatomy

Other Qualifications:

• ARRT (R) Registered/ Mammography
• State of Florida DOH License
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
