Job summary

West Boca Medical Center in Boca Raton, FL seeks a certified Ultrasound Technician to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and support physicians in patient care. You will handle geriatric to neonatal imaging, contribute to on-call coverage, and maintain compliance with safety standards.

The role requires ARDMS certification and BLS/CPR, graduation from an accredited program in ultrasound, and strong anatomy knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must have ARDMS in Abdomen and/or OB and current BLS/CPR certification.
• Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program is required; degree preferred: Associate or Bachelor in Ultrasound Technology.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound modalities, anatomy, physiology, and imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for diverse patient populations.
• Direct patient care responsibilities from geriatric to neonatal until discharge or transfer.
• Participate in on-call rotations and daily Sonography procedures and staffing.

Job Summary

Job Shift: Days

Job Type: Full Time

Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

The Ultrasound Tech performs diagnostic Ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Direct patient responsibility for geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal patient care until the patient is returned to his/her room or until outpatient is discharged. Performs daily routine of Sonography procedures and staffing including “On-Call”.

Qualifications

Education

• Minimum: Graduation from accredited program in Ultrasound Technology.
• Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Ultrasound Technology

Experience

• Thorough knowledge of Ultrasound in all forms of diagnostic technology, terminology, practice, procedure, physiology and human anatomy.

Other Qualifications

Required Certification/Licensure/Registration

• ARDMS in one or more of the following: Abdomen and/or OB
• Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
