Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting radiologists with exams, reviewing diagnostic data, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining station readiness. Required ARRT credentials in Radiology and Mammography within one year, plus BLS and accredited program completion.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program is required.
• ARRT credential in Radiology is required.
• ARRT credential in Mammography is required within one year of hire.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for and assists radiologists in radiologic/fluoroscopic and mammography procedures.
• Reviews diagnostic data for completeness and accuracy.
• Assesses patient status prior to discharge from the department.
• Performs a variety of related duties and maintains standard practices.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance and meets unit needs.
