Job summary

UW Medicine’s Harborview Medical Center in Seattle seeks a Lead Mammography Technologist for 100% FTE. You will serve as clinical and operational lead for mammography services, overseeing daily workflow, QA activities, regulatory compliance, and staff development.

The role requires ARRT Mammography certification, state licensure, and leadership or supervisory experience. You will coordinate scheduling, ensure image quality and safety, and collaborate with radiologists and physicists.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA-approved radiologic technology training program.
• ARRT registration and one year of experience in mammography OR six months of experience with prior leadership.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except for licenses or registrations.

Responsibilities

• Operate all mammography equipment and follow proper imaging techniques.
• Schedule, begin, complete, and cancel exams in RIS.
• Assign, instruct, and monitor mammography staff.
• Serve as primary clinical resource for workflow, image quality, and equipment questions.
• Coordinate daily patient scheduling and workflow for efficiency.
