Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography at our California facility. You will operate dedicated mammography equipment, position patients including those with implants, and perform QC/QA per MQSA and state requirements.

You will document clinical activities, educate staff, and assist with routine radiographic exams as needed. This per diem role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and patient comfort while providing high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent experience as Radiologic Technologist including mammography procedures.
• Certification in Radiologic Technologist - Mammography (California) and ARRT Mammography preferred.
• Maintains MQSA/ACR/CDPH compliance and QC/QA responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammography equipment to obtain diagnostic breast images.
• Position patients with implants; adjust views (magnification, compression) as needed.
• Perform QC/QA for mammography per state and MQSA requirements.
• Document procedures and patient data accurately and promptly.
• Train or orient students and radiologic technologists in positioning and quality control.
• Complete procedures safely while maintaining infection control and patient comfort.
