Exciting opportunity for Radiologic Technologists! AMI offers a Cross Training program for Technologists interested in Mammography. The program prepares you for the next step in your career, including training in Mammography and preparation for the ARRT Mammography boards.

Training will cover Mammography, Dexa, and X-Ray. Participants will learn to:

• Perform mammography exams following departmental standards.
• Utilize instructional methods established by management.
• Ensure safety, health, and well-being of patients, visitors, and staff, including emergency response readiness.
• Perform related duties to maintain efficient, safe radiologic care and office operations.
• Provide supervision and guidance to non-technical staff as needed.
• Use departmental equipment for record-keeping and documentation.

This full-time position (40 hours/week) is based in Galloway, Egg Harbor Township, Somers Point, and Manahawkin. Training will also be provided on the Mobile Mammography Van, with eventual coverage. The schedule varies, including rotating Saturdays, with shifts from 7am to 8pm, subject to change based on needs.

Qualifications include completion of an accredited Radiology program, ARRT registration or eligibility, NJ X-Ray Technologist license, and BLS certification. Candidates must be willing to complete the Mammography Cross Training and pass the ARRT Mammography boards. Dexa and X-Ray training are also provided.
