Job Description

Mammography Tech – Performs a variety of Mammography exams for patients. Applies principles, theories and techniques of Mammography imaging to provide reliable imaging results.

Compensation

Minimum: $37.72 USD
Maximum: $55.98 USD (significant experience)

Skills and Abilities

• Demonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position
• Demonstrates the ability to operate applicable office equipment
• Exhibits the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally & with the public
• Exhibits the ability to maintain confidentiality, think and act independently with minimal supervision
• Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location

Education / Certifications / Licenses / Degrees

• Graduate of Accredited Radiology Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist’s certification in Radiology and Mammography modalities
• Current Oregon license
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Image Wisely pledge certificate or must obtain within 30 days of hire date and annually by January 30 thereafter
• Image Gently pledge certificate or must obtain within 30 days of hire date and annually by January 30 thereafter
• Associates or Bachelors degree preferred

Experience

• One year previous experience in Mammography
• Experience in stereo biopsy preferred
