Mammograghy Technologist - Full-time - Saxony

Overview

This is a full-time Mammography Technologist position located at Saxony Hospital. The hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm. No call or holidays required! Growing hospital meeting the needs of the Fishers community.

Responsibilities include performing quality diagnostic and screening mammographic studies, ensuring patient safety and comfort, reviewing prior imaging, and complying with FDA MQSA Regulations. Assists with mammographs, ultrasounds, and MR-guided breast localizations and biopsies. May perform screening breast ultrasound procedures as required.

Minimum requirements:

• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Ability to maneuver equipment and adapt positions when necessary.
• Active Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R), certification through ARRT, with Mammography (M) certification within 12 months of hire.
• Credential in breast ultrasound (ARDMS RDMS(BR) or ARRT RT(S)(BS)/RT(R)(M)(BS)) within 18 months of hire if performing ultrasound.
• Current Indiana license as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Experience meeting MQSA requirements is preferred.
