Job description

Job Title: CT Technologist - Full-time - Saxony

Join Indiana University Health as a CT Technologist at Saxony Hospital. This full-time position involves working during the night shift (Mon 7p-5a, Tues-Thurs 8p-6a) and aims to serve the Fishers community.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operating CT scanner and preparing patients for scans.
  • Screening patients for safety, administering contrast, and recognizing adverse reactions.
  • Adjusting scan parameters and collaborating with radiologists and physicians.
  • Following radiation safety protocols and performing routine quality control.
  • Documenting in EMR and assisting with minimally invasive procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA.
  • Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise patient positioning.
  • Active certification through ARRT (RT[R] or RT[NM]) or NMTCB (CNMT).
  • Within 12 months of hire, obtain advanced certification in CT (ARRT or NMTCB).
  • Current Indiana State Department of Health license as Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
