Job summary

TRA Medical Imaging in Olympia, WA is hiring Mammography Technologists to join our Mammo Tech team, performing mammography in line with ARRT/ACR standards and safety guidelines while delivering patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) Registry is required.
• ARRT (M) Registry eligibility is required or must be pursuing.
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in line with TRA mission and standards.
• Rotate shifts and locations as needed.
• Prepare patients for mammography with clear instructions.
• Accurately capture patient history relevant to the exam.
• Accurately follow physician orders and produce quality mammograms.
• Maintain accurate patient information records.
• Present radiographs and history to radiologist for interpretation.
• Maintain professional communication with patients and staff.
• Utilize RIS, MRS, Replica and PACS for exams.
• Keep exam areas stocked and organized.
• Participate in orientation, meetings, and training.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor.
• Be punctual with minimal absences.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient workflow.
• Provide accurate information to customers.
• Check work e-mail daily.
