TRA Medical Imaging is seeking multiple Mammo Technologists to join our team in Lakewood, WA. The role focuses on performing mammography exams per ARRT/ACR standards, with patient-centered care and adherence to safety guidelines. The position includes a structured growth path and a commitment to practical education reimbursement.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) Registry required.
• ARRT (M) Registry eligible.
• Must have valid Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Maintains a professional demeanor with confidentiality.
• Proficient in the use of computers and computer information systems.
• Meet and support the workflow demands of a fast paced, customer focused service environment in clinic setting.
• Utilizes accurate written and oral communications with patients, physicians, co-workers and supervisor.
• Maintains high standards regarding the accurate recording of patient information.
• Is prompt and efficient with minimal absences.

Responsabilités

• Provides patient care in accordance with TRA's mission statement.
• Rotate shifts and work place as needed.
• Prepares patients for mammography exams with thorough explanations of the procedures and clear instructions.
• Obtains a thorough patient history as it relates to the exam to be completed.
• Accurately implements the orders of the referring physician, producing mammograms with minimum patient exposure and repeatability.
• Maintains accurate recording of patient information.
• Present high quality radiographs and pertinent patient history to radiologist for interpretation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, co-workers and supervisors.
• Perform computer functions related to patient exams (RIS, MRS, Replica, PACS).
• Keep work areas neat and stocked with supplies.
• Participate in orientation, staff meetings, and in-service training.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
• Be prompt and reliable with absences.
• Cooperate and maintain good rapport with coworkers for safe patient care.
• Provide accurate information to key customers.
• Check work e-mail daily.
• Perform other related duties as required.
