Job summary

TRA Medical Imaging is seeking multiple Mammography Technologists to join our breast imaging team in Lakewood, WA. The Mammography Technologist performs mammographic functions in accordance with ARRT/ACR standards, ensuring patient safety and high-quality images.

Responsibilities include patient interaction, accurate documentation, and collaboration with radiologists, while adhering to company policies and continuing education opportunities and a clear growth path.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) registry required.
• ARRT (M) registry eligible.
• Must have valid Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with TRA mission.
• Rotate shifts as needed.
• Prepare patients for mammography with explanations of procedures.
• Obtain thorough patient history related to the exam.
• Accurately implement orders for mammograms with minimal exposure.
• Maintain accurate recording of patient information.
• Present high-quality radiographs to radiologist for interpretation.
• Utilize RIS, MRS, Replica, and PACS systems.
• Maintain neat, stocked work areas and confidentiality.
